Temporary Part-Time Teaching Positions


Fall Quarter 2008
(Instruction begins September 25th; exams end December 13th)

 

*Religious Studies 14 - Religion and Science
Tuesday and Thursday 9:40am - 11:00am

This course introduces students to major themes in religion and science.  Although the primary focus is on issues between science and western religious thought, such as the debates about creationism and Darwinian evolution, attention may be given to Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism, depending on the expertise of individual instructors.

This is a lower division lecture course with an enrollment of 75 students.  A graduate student Teaching Assistant who will meet with all enrolled students in three sections (25 students per section) each week for discussion has been assigned to assist.


Total Salary: $4,628.16 Per Course, Per Quarter
